Practise Latin grammar and vocabulary whenever you have a free moment

Learning a language is a complex and multi-layered process, which no computer can automate, but the study of Latin also involves extensive memorisation, which is where Liberation Philology Latin can help.Liberation Philology Latin drills you on Latin vocabulary and grammar, through a continuous multiple-choice test thats instantly available wherever you have your phone and a free moment. Your answers are immediately confirmed or corrected, and reinforced through repetition.• Vocabulary: 200 levels of basic vocabulary, each testing the translation of 10 words between Latin and English. Additional sections cover the vocabulary of Book I of the Aeneid in sequence (148 levels), intermediate vocabulary (300 levels), and Ciceros In Catilinam I and Pro Caelio (82 and 66 levels). Interspersed among these are cumulative levels reviewing what has been learned earlier (giving a total of 898 levels).• Nouns: Tests your ability to parse and decline all classes of Latin nouns.• Adjectives & Pronouns: Tests your ability to recognise and decline Latin adjectives, pronouns, and pronominal adjectives.• Verbs: Tests your ability to parse and conjugate regular and irregular Latin verbs.• Participles: Tests your ability to recognise and decline Latin participles.A further module allows you to review the word-list and paradigms.Updated for the latest devices and systems.

Great app! Please, add numerals!

Алексей

Brilliant simplicity.

Better suited to exercise and review than to actually learn, start elsewhere. It's mostly quizzes, very little explanation or guidance. And forget about pronunciation.

Nice app, but the declensions are in the wrong order in the reference: They go Nom. Gen. Dat. Acc. Voc. Abl. Which is quite weird. They should go Nom. Voc. Acc. Gen. Dat. Abl. This is quite annoying because it means I can't read the reference without adjusting to the new table.

Finn Cleghorn-Brown

It is a very useful app. Would it be possible to add our own vocabulary list?

Timothée Davi

can you update this app for new verison of Android? thank you

Caim Astraea

Good revision tool. Declensions are in the wrong order for British students who are taught nom voc acc gen dat ablative.

Tony Pearson

Perfect for revising vocabulary. Must have for the beginner.

xavier harrison

Another great language app, thank you.

carl badgley

Does what it says on the tin. Very useful if you want to get some quick revision without having to pull any books out.
